This first issue of the Octopus Journal is dedicated to all the land defenders out there, holding it down for the futures of all babies, for the ancestors, and spirits living in the trees, water, and animals. We are fortunate that they see what they see, and work hard toward the future the planet needs, because they must. Now may we do what we should and take responsibility for our part in changing the world, it is not about whether or not we can, but that we have too.
